The agreement between you and Burden and Grace.

Welcome to Burden & Grace. By downloading or using our mobile application, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Burden & Grace is a Christian devotional application designed to help men grow in their faith through daily readings, scripture, journaling, and prayer. The App provides devotional content, a Bible reader, a personal journal, and progress tracking features.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Burden & Grace. By using the App, you represent that you are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, you may not use the App.
You must create an account to use the App. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and to keep your account information updated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@burdenandgrace.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Each account is for personal, individual use only. You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of other people.
Burden & Grace offers a free tier with limited content and a paid "Pro" subscription that unlocks all devotional tracks and premium features.
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Billing, refunds, and subscription management are governed by your platform's terms. We do not directly handle payment card information.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods, except as required by law or as determined by the App Store.
We may change subscription prices with advance notice. Continued use of the App after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
All devotional content, designs, text, graphics, and features within the App are owned by or licensed to Burden & Grace and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.
You retain ownership of the journal entries and other content you create within the App ("Your Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the App's services to you. We will never use your journal entries for marketing, AI training, or any purpose other than delivering the service to you.
Scripture passages are sourced from publicly available Bible translations including the World English Bible (WEB), King James Version (KJV), and others that are in the public domain or used under license.
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose. You may not:
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses. The devotional content in the App is for spiritual encouragement only and does not constitute professional counseling, therapy, or mental health advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Burden & Grace and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Burden & Grace operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
